Appleton and the A4

Places around Appleton include Durham, Redlands and Rhone.

The numbers in plain words

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

Living with the A4

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

In our fleet

Your request, our offer, your keys

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What we check

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
