What to expect when you book
You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Driver basics
From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
