Engine and fuel

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Space and size

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Rent it from us

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

The booking steps

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Who qualifies

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
