Gresham and the A4

The numbers in plain words

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Getting this car from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

What we need from you

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

How to book

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
