Specs, explained

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid drives through a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $128.70.

How big it is

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Rent it from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

From request to keys

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You pay only once you approve the offer.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
