The numbers in plain words

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Practical details

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Renting it

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

From request to keys

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What you need to rent

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
