Specs, explained

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 10.8 L/100 km works out to about 32 litres per 300 km. That works out to about $18.90 per 100 km at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Practical details

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Can I rent it?

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

The steps

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Requirements

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Over to you
