From your dates to the handover

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Renting: the basics

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
