Java and the Edge

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 442 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Nearby places include Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners.

What the figures tell you

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 9.8 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 29 litres of fuel. In money, 1,000 km costs about $151.90 at our price setting.

Size and space

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

A good match for

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting the Edge from CarmaCars

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Licence, age and card

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

The steps

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
