Car with driver with this car
The 2011 Ford Taurus for a car with a driver: the facts first, then the booking. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Specs, explained
Its 3.5L 6-cylinder drives through a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Combined fuel use is 11.1 L/100 km: about 33 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $51.63 at our price setting.
What the Taurus is like
Being a large sedan, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The trunk holds 566 litres by the EPA's count: bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Who rents the Taurus
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
Getting this car from us
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Before pickup
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Requesting a car
Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
