Farmbrook and the Accord

Specs, explained

The powertrain here is the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 7.1 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 21 litres of fuel. In money, 1,000 km costs about $110.10 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

What to expect from the Accord

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA measures its luggage space at 481 litres, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Getting this car from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What to bring

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

The booking steps

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Next step

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
