The figures, translated

Power comes from the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 23 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.8 L/100 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.09 at our price setting.

Good uses for the CR-V

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people.

Living with the CR-V

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Our CR-V cars

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

The booking steps

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What to have ready

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
