Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
