Renting the 2011 Kia Optima
For a car with a driver, here is what the 2011 Kia Optima brings, and how to request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Engine and fuel
It is powered by the 2.4L 4-cylinder hybrid, with front-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Its combined rating is 6.5 L/100 km, which means roughly 20 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $30.24 at our price setting.
What to expect from the Optima
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. EPA lists 283 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Best uses
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Getting one from us
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Your request, our offer, your keys
You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
Before pickup
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
Send a request
A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
