The 2017 Lexus ES: Car with driver
Renting the 2017 Lexus ES as a car with a driver works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
The figures, translated
Power comes from the 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid, driving through an automatic (CVT). As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
At 5.9 L/100 km combined, it is easy on fuel: about 18 litres for 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $9.15.
Space and size
Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Best uses
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Can I rent it?
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Before you rent
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
What happens when you ask for a car
Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
One more step
Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
