Renting the 2002 Lexus GS
Want to know if the 2002 Lexus GS suits a car with a driver? Read on. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Reading the spec sheet
It runs the 3.0L 6-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Plan on about 37 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 12.4 L/100 km. Every 100 km costs about $21.70 in fuel at our price setting.
Living with the GS
Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. At 425 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.
Best uses
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.
Can I rent it?
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
The steps
All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You pay when you approve, and only then.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
The rules, briefly
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
