Car with driver: the 2012 Lexus LS
If a car with a driver is the plan, the 2012 Lexus LS is worth a look; here is why. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Under the hood
It is powered by the 5.0L 8-cylinder hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.
By the EPA's combined rating of 11.5 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 35 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $178.30.
Living with the LS
Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. At 283 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
When the LS makes sense
It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Getting one from us
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Licence, age and card
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
Booking with CarmaCars
Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
