What the figures tell you
Power: the 5.5L 12-cylinder turbo; drive: rear-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
The EPA rates it at 19.6 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 59 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $102.90 at our price setting.
When the 57 makes sense

How big it is
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 425 litres of luggage space fit a family's bags for a long weekend.
Can I rent it?

Checking your details
Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
Booking, step by step
Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
