Driver basics

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
