The 1997 Mazda MX-6: Car with driver

For a car with a driver, the 1997 Mazda MX-6 could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder, driving through a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Its combined rating is 9.0 L/100 km, which means roughly 27 litres for 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $41.85 in energy at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

What to expect from the MX-6

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting this car

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

Checking your details

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Booking in plain terms

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
