Can I rent it?

Before you rent

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Booking, step by step

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
