Renting for Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 3,178 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction.

What the figures tell you

The engine is the 1.6L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Combined fuel use is 7.1 L/100 km: about 21 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $11.01 at our price setting.

What the Kicks is like

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 708 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Who it is for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can you rent one?

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

How it works

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

One more step

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
