For a car with a driver, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

The 1500 and Java

If you are near Java, Selby, Lowry and Sitka are close too.

The figures, translated

The 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged does the work, through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 59 litres, from its 19.8 L/100 km rating. Expect about $34.65 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who the 1500 suits

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Space, size and seats

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Renting the 1500 from CarmaCars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Booking made plain

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
