The Forester and Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Neighbouring areas include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

The 2.5L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Fuel use is rated 8.2 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $127.10.

What the Forester is like

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Is it right for your trip?

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can I rent it?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

How booking works

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Driver requirements

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
