What happens when you ask for a car

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Requirements

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
