A note on Farmbrook

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 544 km from Farmbrook, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Farmbrook.

Places around Farmbrook include Dogwood Hollow, Greenbrook and Oaktree Hollow.

What the figures tell you

The powertrain here is the 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 23 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 7.5 L/100 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $116.30.

When the Corolla makes sense

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Room inside

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can you rent one?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Requirements

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

The booking steps

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
