Specs, explained

Power comes from the 3.5L 6-cylinder, driving through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Rated at 10.1 L/100 km combined, it needs around 30 litres for a 300 km round trip. For 1,000 km, budget about $156.60 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

What to expect from the Highlander

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Rent this car

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

Booking, step by step

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What you need to rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
