Your 1983 Audi 4000: the work
CarmaCars takes requests for a ceramic coating on the 1983 Audi 4000, and rents you a car while yours is in. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
The car itself
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. As a small car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
What happens after you ask
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. You can add a rental to the same request. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
What affects the price
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. We price the job before we start, never after.
Keeping it that way
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. A coating makes washing easier, but the car still needs regular washes.
When the car is ready
Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days. Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover.
Getting the car ready
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
