The 1982 BMW 533i: Ceramic coating
CarmaCars takes requests for a ceramic coating on the 1982 BMW 533i, and rents you a car while yours is in. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
Size and finish
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Getting a quote
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. We reply within one business day with a time and a price.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Keeping it that way
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car.
On the day
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
What goes into a quote
A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
How long it takes
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. Coatings and paint need time to cure, which is part of the schedule.
Ready when you are
A person reads your request and replies with a price and a time.
