Booking the work for the i3
CarmaCars takes requests for a ceramic coating on the 2015 BMW i3, and rents you a car while yours is in. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
Your i3, up close
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
What to send us
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. A person reads your request and replies with the next step. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Driving while yours is in
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Planning around the work
We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
On the day
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive.
Aftercare
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
Why prices differ
The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
