The Buick Somerset: Ceramic coating
Book a ceramic coating for the Buick Somerset, with a rental meanwhile if you need one. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Getting a price
Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Driving while yours is in
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
What to bring
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
Planning around the work
Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
How the price is set
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time.
Looking after it afterwards
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Rinse off winter salt regularly to protect paint and wheels.
Send a request
When you are ready, a short request books the work.
