The Chevrolet C6: Ceramic coating
CarmaCars takes requests for a ceramic coating on the Chevrolet C6, and rents you a car while yours is in. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
What your car means for the work
As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
The request
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
A car while yours is in
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
What affects the price
The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
How long it takes
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
On the day
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
Keeping it that way
A coating makes washing easier, but the car still needs regular washes. Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car.
Next step
A person reads your request and replies with a price and a time.
