Ceramic coating: the Chevrolet SS
For your Chevrolet SS, a ceramic coating starts with a short request. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
Size and finish
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. As a large sedan, it is a straightforward size for this work. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
Getting a price
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
A car while yours is in
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Getting the car ready
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
What goes into a quote
Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail.
Keeping it that way
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
When the car is ready
Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days. We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price.
