The 2001 Ford E-450: Ceramic coating
Here is how we handle a ceramic coating for the 2001 Ford E-450: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
How to request it
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Ask anything about the work in the request.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Add a rental to the same request as the work. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
On the day
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
How the price is set
Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.
After the work
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car.
How long it takes
We keep you posted if the timing changes. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.
Your move
Ready when you are: send the details of the car.
