The Ford E-550: Ceramic coating
Here is how we handle a ceramic coating for the Ford E-550: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
The car itself
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work.
The request
Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Ask anything about the work in the request.
Need a car meanwhile?
Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
A few things first
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Planning around the work
We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
Pricing, plainly
We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
Aftercare
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
Talk to a person
A short request is all it takes to get a price for your car.
