Ceramic coating: the 1997 Ford LT8513
Here is how we handle a ceramic coating for the 1997 Ford LT8513: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
The car itself
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
What to send us
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. You can add a rental to the same request. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Need a car meanwhile?
Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
How long it takes
Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work. A clear timeline comes with every quote.
Before you drop the car off
Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Ask any question you have before the work starts.
Why prices differ
The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part.
After the work
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
