The 1986 GMC C6: Ceramic coating
Your 1986 GMC C6 needs a ceramic coating? Send the details, and we reply within one business day. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
About your C6
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
What happens after you ask
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Driving while yours is in
A rental means the work does not stop your week. We bring the rental to you and collect it later. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Keeping it that way
Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint. Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car.
Pricing, plainly
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.
How long you are without it
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.
Before you drop the car off
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
