Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Your 1991 GMC CACL: the work
CarmaCars takes requests for a ceramic coating on the 1991 GMC CACL, and rents you a car while yours is in. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
The car itself
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Getting a quote
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Driving while yours is in
Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Planning around the work
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.
Getting the car ready
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached.
What goes into a quote
Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job.
After the work
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. A coating makes washing easier, but the car still needs regular washes.
Over to you
When you are ready, a short request books the work.
