Ceramic coating: the 1988 GMC Forward Control
CarmaCars takes requests for a ceramic coating on the 1988 GMC Forward Control, and rents you a car while yours is in. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
The car itself
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
What to send us
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Keep your week on track
Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. We bring the rental to you and collect it later. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Before you drop the car off
Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
How the price is set
We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job. A quote from us is free and comes with no obligation. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
Keeping it that way
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
When the car is ready
We keep you posted if the timing changes. Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic.
Send a request
Tell us about the car and the work, and we take it from there.
Request ceramic coating
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
