Your Kubvan and a ceramic coating
CarmaCars takes requests for a ceramic coating on the Grumman Olson Kubvan, and rents you a car while yours is in. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
Size and finish
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. As a van, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer.
The request
You can add a rental to the same request. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Driving while yours is in
Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Your rental can be waiting when you drop your car off. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Getting the car ready
Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Pricing, plainly
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear.
Keeping it that way
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.
How long it takes
We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
