Your 2005 Kia Optima: the work
Searching for ceramic coating for the 2005 Kia Optima? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
About your Optima
If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a mid-size car, it is a straightforward size for this work.
Getting a price
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Stay on the road
We bring the rental to you and collect it later. A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Aftercare
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car.
What goes into a quote
Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job.
What to bring
Ask any question you have before the work starts. Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day.
Timing
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
Ready when you are
A quote costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
