Ceramic coating: your IS
This page covers a ceramic coating for the 2019 Lexus IS, and a rental while the car is with us. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
The car itself
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces.
Booking the work
We confirm the price and the time with you before any work. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
A rental meanwhile
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. We collect the rental when your car is ready. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Before you drop the car off
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Ask any question you have before the work starts. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
What goes into a quote
We explain the price in plain words if anything is unclear. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time.
Looking after it afterwards
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
When the car is ready
If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. Bigger jobs are booked in a few days ahead; small ones can often be fitted in sooner.
Still deciding?
Send a request with the car and the work, and we reply with a price and a time.
