Ceramic coating: the 2018 Lincoln MKC
Here is how we handle a ceramic coating for the 2018 Lincoln MKC: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
Size and finish
As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Premium cars often have more trim and sensors to work around; mention any options in your request. Mention the trim and options, so we plan around sensors and trim pieces.
Your request
Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
Keep driving meanwhile
Add a rental to the same request as the work. Pick the rental from our fleet; delivery is priced in the offer. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
What to bring
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
How the price is set
Options such as sensors, trim pieces or special paint can add time. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. We quote your car, not an average car, so the price fits the job.
How long you are without it
We give you a time with the quote, so you can plan a rental for the right number of days. We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover.
Aftercare
A coating makes washing easier, but the car still needs regular washes. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
