Your RX-8 and a ceramic coating
For the 2011 Mazda RX-8, a ceramic coating starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
Your RX-8, up close
As a small car, it is a straightforward size for this work. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
From request to appointment
Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. We reply within one business day with a time and a price. A person reads your request and replies with the next step.
Keep driving meanwhile
Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Choose a car from our fleet for the days the work takes. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Timing
Coatings and paint need time to cure, which is part of the schedule. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.
Before you drop the car off
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Arrive at the time we confirm, so the work can start on schedule.
Looking after it afterwards
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
How the price is set
Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work.
When you know your dates
Send photos and a few details, and a person replies with the next step.
