The 1982 Mercury Zephyr: Ceramic coating
The 1982 Mercury Zephyr needs a ceramic coating? Send photos and when it suits you. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
Your Zephyr, up close
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
What to send us
Ask anything about the work in the request. We reply within one business day with a time and a price. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price.
A car while yours is in
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Keep driving: rent from us while the work is done. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
How long you are without it
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in.
How the price is set
We price the job before we start, never after. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one.
Looking after it afterwards
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.
What to bring
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
