The 2016 Nissan Pathfinder: Ceramic coating
Here is how we handle a ceramic coating for the 2016 Nissan Pathfinder: the request, the work and a car to drive meanwhile. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does.
Size and finish
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next.
What happens after you ask
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
Keep your week on track
Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Aftercare
Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks.
Why prices differ
Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car. Ask what is included, so you can compare quotes fairly.
Getting the car ready
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.
How long you are without it
Book a little ahead for larger jobs; small ones can be quicker to schedule. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.
Your move
Tell us what the car needs and when it is free.
