Rent a car while yours is detailed
Keep driving while your car is in: we deliver a rental to you and collect it when yours is ready.
Ceramic coating: your FML
CarmaCars takes requests for a ceramic coating on the 1999 Volvo FML, and rents you a car while yours is in. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
Your FML, up close
We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
Booking the work
We reply within one business day with a time and a price. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time.
Keep driving meanwhile
Add a rental to the same request as the work. Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Getting the car ready
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.
Aftercare
Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
What affects the price
Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do.
How long you are without it
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. If you need the car back by a date, say so and we plan for it.
