Ceramic coating for the 1985 Volvo WCA
Ceramic coating for the 1985 Volvo WCA: send a request and a person replies with a price and a time. A coating protects the gloss; it does not stop stone chips the way film does. A ceramic coating goes on after the paint is corrected and makes the car easier to wash.
The car itself
Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
Getting a quote
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. We reply within one business day with a time and a price. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
A rental while we work
Rent by the day while your car is in, delivered to you. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Looking after it afterwards
Wash a coated car by hand with a gentle soap; harsh brushes wear the coating down. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
Timing
If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
Pricing, plainly
The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. We price the job before we start, never after. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
Before you drop the car off
Leave a phone number where we can reach you during the day. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
