A note on Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the neighbouring places on our list.

What the specs mean

Power comes from the 3.5L 6-cylinder, driving through a 9-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 31 litres, from its 10.4 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $161.20.

Living with the Pilot

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting this car

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Your request, our offer, your keys

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Renting: the basics

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

One more step

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
