The numbers in plain words

Power comes from the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, driving through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

It is rated 19.8 L/100 km combined: about 59 litres every 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $34.65.

Space and size

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Good uses for the 1500

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

In our fleet

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

The booking steps

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

The rules, briefly

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
